What is CMYK?

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black) is the standard color model for print production. Unlike RGB which is additive (adds light), CMYK is subtractive (removes light via ink absorption). Each value represents the percentage of ink coverage (0-100%). It requires four color channels instead of three.

What is HEX?

HEX (Hexadecimal) is the most widely used color format on the web. It represents colors using a 6-digit code preceded by a hash (#), where each pair of digits encodes the Red, Green, and Blue channels in base-16 (00-FF). For example, #FF5733 means maximum red (FF), moderate green (57), and low blue (33).
